Leave WordPress. Keep your content. Ship on Cloudflare.
Cloudflare moved its own blog to EmDash. We do the same for your site — landing, company site or portal of hundreds of pages. Content, media, SEO and redirects come across. Plugins stay behind. You get a fast site you can edit, not a PDF of what we found.
Packages from €490. Send your URL — we reply with a free audit, exact timeline and fixed price. No obligation.

Everything that matters, nothing that hurts
Posts, pages, custom types, taxonomies, authors, media, menus, Yoast and Rank Math fields. Shortcodes and page-builder markup need a second pass — we flag them in the audit.
Content & media
Posts, pages, custom post types, taxonomies, authors and every attached file. Import finishes in minutes, not hours.
SEO & redirects
Titles, descriptions, Open Graph, Yoast and Rank Math fields. 301 redirects built into the core — CSV import, no Redirection plugin.
Design on Astro
WordPress PHP themes don't run. We rebuild the visual on Astro components, preserving the look. MCP agent ports theme files in under an hour.
Admin you know
Familiar WordPress-style panel: collections, media, menus, roles. Transitions under 200 ms. Inline editor on the live page.
AI-native
Built-in MCP server. Claude, Cursor or any agent can draft, edit, publish and schedule with the same permissions as your team.
Hosted on Cloudflare
Workers, D1, R2 in your own Cloudflare account, on the Workers Paid plan: $5/month, billed to you by Cloudflare. Cloudflare runs its own blog on this stack, with traffic peaks over 5,000 requests per second.
Not a rebuild. Not a plugin. A move.
WordPress keeps the content. EmDash keeps the speed, the security and the editing model — without the plugin surface.
| Stay on WordPress | Static export | Headless WP | EmDash migration | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Plugin risk | Every plugin is an attack surface | Plugins gone, but no editor | Plugins still on the backend | Sandboxed plugins, no WP code |
| Speed | Slows down as plugins pile up | Fast, but rebuild to edit | Fast front, slow admin | LCP 2.3 s on mobile, 0 ms blocking time (our measurement) |
| Hosting cost | Managed WP hosting | Cheap static, limited features | Two systems to run | $5/month Workers plan in your Cloudflare account |
| Editing | Familiar, but heavy | Code or re-export | Still WordPress admin | Familiar admin, AI agents included |
Three shapes of site
Pick the package that matches what you have. The audit tells us which one it is.
Landing page
One page, one offer. You want it fast, secure and editable without learning a new stack.
→ LandingSmall company site
5–7 pages: services, cases, team, contact. The most common move — and the one EmDash fits best.
→ SmallCorporate portal
Dozens or hundreds of pages, custom types, multiple editors. Content moves in minutes; theme and plugins need a scoped plan.
→ LargeHow much does hosting cost after WordPress?
WordPress needs a server that is always on. EmDash on Cloudflare Workers is billed by usage, so a quiet site costs almost nothing and a busy one still stays cheap.
| WordPress hosting, per year | EmDash on Cloudflare, per year | Difference | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Landing pagesingle page | €120 / year (from €10/mo) | $60 / year ($5/mo) | ≈ 2× cheaper |
| Company site5–7 pages | €240 / year (from €20/mo) | $60 / year ($5/mo) | ≈ 4× cheaper |
| Large portalhundreds of pages, high traffic | €1 200 / year (up to €100/mo) | $60–600 / year ($5–50/mo) | 2–20× cheaper |
requests per second at peak on Cloudflare's own EmDash blog
Cloudflare moved its main blog from WordPress to EmDash in August 2026. Normal load is about 75 requests per second, with spikes over 5,000, and Cloudflare reports a flat latency profile. A traffic spike, a viral post or a campaign launch does not need a bigger server. Source: The Cloudflare Blog
WordPress figures are typical managed-hosting prices. You pay the Cloudflare bill in your own account: Workers Paid starts at $5/month and grows with usage, to about $50/month even under very heavy traffic. We estimate it for your traffic in the free audit.

Audit, import, rebuild, switch
Audit
FreeWe look at your URL, list plugins, page builders and custom types, and tell you which package and what needs a manual pass.
Import
MinutesWXR or the EmDash Exporter plugin pulls posts, pages, media, taxonomies and SEO fields. The import itself takes minutes; the rebuild is what takes time.
Rebuild
Hours to daysTheme is ported to Astro components. Shortcodes and page-builder markup are rewritten by hand. Staging site for your review.
Switch
One cutover301 redirects in place, domain pointed, optional gradual traffic shift from 1 % to 100 % the way Cloudflare did it.
Content is preserved, rankings are protected
We don't promise traffic — nobody honestly can. We guarantee your content, media and URL structure survive the move, and every old URL has a 301. Before / after check on staging before we touch the domain.
What we say before you pay
Better to hear it now than after the invoice.
No WooCommerce
EmDash does not replace WooCommerce. If you run a shop, we say so immediately and talk about a different path.
Page builders are manual
Elementor, WPBakery and shortcodes do not import as layouts. We rebuild those blocks by hand during the audit phase.
PHP themes don't run
Your WordPress theme is PHP. We port the visual to Astro. For landings that's hours; for portals it's a separate estimate.
Questions, answered
How much does a WordPress to EmDash migration cost?+
A WordPress to EmDash migration costs from €490 for a single landing page (1 day), from €1,490 for a 5–7 page company site (3–5 days) and from €4,900 for a portal of tens to hundreds of pages (2–4 weeks). The final fixed price comes after a free audit. Cloudflare hosting is billed to you separately, from $5/month.
Do you work with companies in the US or only in Europe?+
Both. We serve businesses in Europe and in the United States. The whole project runs remotely: audit, migration, review and handover. Hosting sits in your own Cloudflare account, which serves visitors from data centres on both sides of the Atlantic.
How is this different from a static export?+
A static export freezes the site. You re-export to edit. EmDash keeps an admin, revisions, scheduling and an MCP server so both humans and agents can publish.
Will my rankings drop?+
We set 301 redirects for every old URL and keep the content and meta. Rankings depend on more than the move, but the technical layer that protects them is in place before the domain switches.
How long does a portal take?+
A portal of tens to hundreds of pages usually takes 2–4 weeks. Importing the content takes minutes; rebuilding the theme and replacing plugins is the variable part. You get an exact timeline and a fixed price after the free audit.
Can I keep editing during the migration?+
Yes. We work on a staging site. Your WordPress stays live until the cutover. No freeze required for content sites.
What about forms and search?+
Forms become lightweight endpoints or third-party services. Search is built into EmDash (FTS5). We map what you have during the audit.
Do I need Cloudflare?+
EmDash runs on Node.js anywhere, but the speed and cost numbers come from Cloudflare Workers. We deploy there by default. The site lives in your own Cloudflare account on the Workers Paid plan ($5/month, paid by you directly to Cloudflare). We set everything up and hand it over: you own the account, the domain and the data, not us.
